Geir Evensen, several of our colleagues worldwide and we have worked on the application of ensemble data assimilation to the assessment and prediction of the COVID-19 pandemic. The method is applied to the data of Norway, Canada/Quebec, UK, The Netherlands, France, Brazil, Argentina and the USA using a SEIR model (epidemiological model) with age compartments.
